snow, snow and more snow

did I mention snow? and bitter cold? I am SICK of Minnesota right now! YIKES! Spring? Spring? Where are you Spring?

Seriously, I hope you all are having better weather than we are!

What an exhausting day...

I took Cody to Space Aliens today which was A LOT of fun. Adrienne had a playdate with her friend Ella while we were there. We went back and the kids played for awhile with Ella and her siblings and then we all went swimming together at our local community center. The kids had a BLAST but I am so exhausted! LOL Here are some pics of them today. Cody and the Hannah rarely stayed still long enough for pics but Hannah's grandpa pushed all of the kids on the tire swing and they LOVED it! I wa a little nervous when he put Adrienne on it but she hung on just fine full of smiles!

Sydney or CeCe

Amber got a new dog... a little Malti-Poo who is the sweetest thing! She had A LOT of problems naming her and it reminded me of how many times I changed names while pregnant with Adrienne LOL. The dog's name is now Sydney or CeCe for short. She said that her kids both love the dog and after my kids saw pictures of her, they love her too (and want one LOL). Now Cody has started asking about Kearah frequently and we emailed Aunt Carole to ask for more pics of Kearah. We are planning a trip to St. Louis next month and plan on seeing Kearah then (Cody wouldn't let us not ;-)

TV

Sometimes, tv can really be a good thing. Both of my kids seem pretty well rounded... they enjoy playing games inside, playing with toys, playing outside and TV (and Cody likes video games also) but we could a good varierty of everything and have started playing a boardgame every evening.

Cody really likes Spongebob, Curious George and Tom and Jerry and is starting to like Batman and Spiderman a little. Adrienne still likes Elmo as well as Wubzy, Kai-lan, and Miss Spider but her all time favorite is WINNIE THE POOH. It was always one of my favorites and I remember introducing Cody to it and he never got into it. Adrienne likes the new Tigger and Pooh show but LOVES the classic Pooh movies. They were my favorite too so I enjoy watching her watch them and it makes me smile to see how she loves him like I did ;) Here is a picture of her and how she "relaxes" while watching Pooh...

The birthday party

So, we went to a birthday party on Saturday for one of Cody's friends and the kids had fun DESPITE the fact that Cody slipped on a wet floor and face planted creating a large knot/bruise and later black eye AND the fact that Adrienne somehow ingested another child's chocolate milk and puked all over me and then later in her carseat. They truly did have fun though and here are the pics to prove it. ;-)
